Welcome....

As I was laying in bed last night, having a hard time falling asleep, the brilliant (okay...maybe not so brilliant) idea came to mind of a blog I should start....about being the wife of a Resident Director on a small Christian college campus in the middle of cornfields (literally). I will post another blog about why I was lying awake trying to fall asleep later....because that is what inspired the blog to begin with.


I, currently, am and admissions counselor (you will hear some of those stories as well...) and my husband, Joe, a Resident Director. For the last 2.5 year, we have lived in an apartment that is situated within a dorm on campus- the ideal living space, right?! We have lived here ever since...well, we got married. My husband's job charges him with the oversight of two male dorms on campus- a total of 251 guys (including my husband of course!). I only actually live with 125 of them. I wanted an opportunity for you to have a glimpse into our life, but more importantly the stories of the happenings of the dorms. When I told my husband my great idea this morning (he was not in bed when I was lying awake....again....wait for the next post) he thought it was a great idea. We will see- I will try it out:-)
