Just so you know up front, some of these stories may have nameless characters, or I might make up names for them. The reason? Mostly because I have no idea what their names are...I just hear story about "guy 1" and "guy 2", etc.
So this morning, Joe and I are about to leave to walk to work. He comes in the kitchen rather annoyed...and if you know my husband he is not easily annoyed. I asked him what was the matter. He told me that a particular resident has had a history of losing/forgetting his key places. He had currently lost his key for a extended amount of time. This past weekend, the roommate of this guys lent him his key. Please keep in mind that each key entails a $50 fine if lost....and not found. Joe received an e-mail from the guy who borrowed his roommates key this weekend. Joe had previously sent out an e-mail reminding his residents of room checks today (door locked, trash taken out, no fire code violations, etc). Anyway, the kid wanted to let Joe know that they were not able to lock their door today for room checks. Why? Because he had now lost his ROOMMATES key now too. Oh goodness. What is this kid going to do when he gets out into the real world!?
