Yesterday and today, the Admissions Office has been hosting students who are here to interview for the Pharmacy School. Last night, all the students, parents, Pharmacy professors and Admissions Counselors attended a banquet in their honor. I received a text from Joe letting me know one of his RA's from last year was in town and was coming over to our apartment with his fiance to bake a cake for a friend. In most cases, that means cake mix, some oil, water, eggs and icing on the top. I remembered from last year the cakes which this particular RA produced. cake mix, plus brownie mix (along with the usual water, oil and eggs), with Reese cups, sour patch kids and other lovely things in between. If you can't imagine this cake, here is one from last year:

Last night when I returned from the banquet I was attending, they had saved me a piece of cake...they are so thoughtful:-)
